Living In Christ
Paul wrote to the Christians in Corinth who were struggling with sexual sin and just like today, many in our churches are under the same bondage. Paul said that their “minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ." (2 Cor. 11:3b) When we embrace our identity “In Christ” we will change God’s way. God’s Holy Spirit sanctifies the heart so that our outward fruit reflect Christ in us. Our faith and practice of living “In Christ” determines the amount glory we reflect back to God. (2 Cor. 3:18 ISV)

God's Word
“Listen, the Word is sufficient for cleansing. It's sufficient for purifying the life. It is eternally relevant. It is all that is necessary for the cleansing of the soul. We do not need practitioners; we need the Word of God.” (John MacArthur) Believing the authority and sufficiency of the Bible allows God to use His word to sanctify us unto Christ’s likeness. Jesus prayed this for us: "Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” (John 17:17)
David's Example
Many do not find the meaning to brokenness difficult to understand but do have a hard time living whole hearted. King David is God’s example, he would not settle for a mediocre walk and was either “all in” or “not.” David’s forgiveness follows Isaiah's proclamation: "For thus says the high and lofty One...I dwell...with him also who is of a thoroughly penitent and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the thoroughly penitent [bruised with sorrow for sin]. (Isa. 57:15 AMP) David’s Psalm 51 is the model for those who have sinned and desire restoration. The only true sacrifice is a broken spirit and this is the fertile ground where God’s seeds grow. “I have found David the son of Jesse, A man after my heart, who will do all My will.” (Acts 13:22b)

Prayer
David cleaned his heart when sin consumed him and he then prayerfully repented. (Psa. 50-51). Repentance is God’s method to clean a sinful heart. It is through repentance that our souls are made whole. “God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent." (Acts 17:30) We have the choice to either repent or not to repent. A person who does not repent on a daily basis is not on God's Highway to Holiness. We cannot say we love God without hating sin. Jesus said: "I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance." (Luke 5:32) Will you join me as a sinner who has been called? (See Resouces for Prayers.)
